Restaurants
From its beginning, Las Palmas' jewel was La Dolce Vita Restaurant Bar. As Las Palmas grew, the need for more restaurants became apparent. Segnor Pizza, and the beach-front Cafe' de Playa and Pacifico Beach Club (restaurant) added a little more variety. But now....with the newly renovated La Dolce (La Dolce Vita), the new Soda Mediterraneo and La Creperia in the Publito Sud, and further offering are to be had across the street in the Publito Nord --next to Mini Luperon (grocery store), you will find Saporito and Java Cafe' (for your coffee needs along with frappe' and fruit drinks) offer new opportunities and variety. These along with the two newest restaurants --a Costa Rican Seafood and a Spanish cuisine restaurant along the main boulevard entrance of Las Palmas truly offer locals and vacationers alike, a choice that is much closer than a walk into town. In town, the old favourites are making room for some new arrivals, such as, Il Gusto di Vita now open on Main street --visit Roberto and Ivan for a little taste of Italy. As far as restaurants go, there are too many to list and definitely enough to offer and satisfy every palate there is.

One of our favourite beach restaurants in the area. Great food, great ambience, great scenery and of course, great staff. A superb location for that romantic beach dinner while being serenaded by the soothing pacific waves. Or simply the spot to snack on some amazing "rooster"wings. Mr.Di approved!

This new Bar and Restaurant is located just outside Coco, near Villa Nacazcol. Large stone oven for amazing pizza and full menu kitchen offering great food and clean service. A great place for sushi too!! Stop by its bar for a cold drink or dine in at the restaurant which offers both an open-air atmosphere or an air-conditioned, intimate dinning-room. We made it a favourite stop when returning from a day-trip or simply for a quiet dinner out of Coco. Email owner Johann Molina for more information/ reservations or simply to plan ahead. Do tell him Mr. Di sent you! Mr. Di approved :) ...JUST OPENED... JOHANN BISTRO in downtown Coco, just 50 m. from the beach on Main Street. A must visit for a tasty lunch.

The Italian and International Restaurant "La Dolce Vita" is situated in the romantic and peaceful courtyard of Centro Commercial Pueblito Sur in Las Palmas Condominiums; just a few minutes' walk from your doorstep. Its tranquil Tuscan courtyard setting invites you to spend a lovely evening in the La Dolce Vita-way. After many years of being part of Playas del Coco's Restaurant World, La Dolce Vita remains a well-established destination for many tourists, as well as, locals and residents.

Good Italian food made quick and affordable -take out or eat in. The two brothers, Roberto and Ivan, welcome you with a wonderful smile and a cold drink. Fresh home made bread brings back memories of nonna's kitchen. "Buon apetito."
